A dedication stone: part of a large pebble mosaic feature by Cobblestone Designs in the grounds of Cholmondeley Castle. The late, great calligrapher, Irene Wellington was a friend of the family, and I tried very simply to reflect this connection with restrained flourishes and classic letterforms.

Cut in green mottled slate and painted grey. Malpas, Shropshire.
