The fine new font, Optima Nova Titling, formed the basis for digital manipulation of this etched lettering. The border is hand-drawn: the four Tudor roses at each corner anchoring the freely-designed leaves which grow from laxly intertwined stems, and occasionally break free of the hard border lining. Commissioned by The King’s Own Border Regiment and sited in their own side-chapel of the Priory Church, Lancaster. Etched by Cooper Engraving, Staveley.
