RECENT WORK

Some of the work might appear to be relatively pedestrian; but not everyone who commissions a carved stone wants cutting edge experiments. To achieve a special design which is appropriate to one particular person, however conservative that design may be, is still a challenge equal to the excitement of the new.

 The end product of every fresh commission is different from all others, whether its realisation be a wildly strenuous adventure or a quiet and painstaking development of an earlier idea. Whatever, in almost every circumstance, it represents the fruits of a close collaboration between client and carver.
