in fine blue-grey sandstone. The space beneath the inscription
is designed later to carry an identical rectangle for
Joans' companion. Dawn flight (below) is carved into
the top edge, and serves to both explain the triangle
motif, and as a tactile identification for the visually
impaired as they walk the path behind the headstone.
